A Virtual Reality Arcade Is Opening in Brampton This Spring

The full virtual reality experience is finally coming to Brampton. Ctrl V, a VR experience centre, could be opening this Spring in the city.
The 4,000 square foot facility will eventually offer over 50 different experiences including games, such as archery, space shooters, and first-person shooters. Other experiences will allow you to visit different areas of the world and simulate different life scenarios.
Visiting the experience centre will cost $25 for an hour, which can be split with someone else. You can also hop in and out of as many experiences as you want in the allotted time.
One of Ctrl V’s focuses will be creating a space that’s welcoming and accessible for everyone.
“The beauty of VR is that when you put those goggles on you’re anywhere you want to be, whether you have disabilities and restrictions or not,” says co-owner Deep Mehta.
The facility, which will be located at 239 Queen Street East, still has to get approval from the city for one minor variance before they can open their doors to the public, which they hope to be able to do in May.
